    OK~ I have After Effects CS3, But every time I import music, I put it in to the track and press spacebar to play the track - there's no sound D: The sound works fine in Vegas and all of my music players so I don't know what the problem D;/ Sad


    Anybody with the same problem? Question

    you have to press zero (0) to preview, spacebar only loads/prerenders it to the ram so its not lagy when u preview it. Smile

    Vegas is waaaaay faster in quick preview then after effects. Thats why i think veas is also waaaaay easier to use. But if you want to quick preview with sound and video while dragging the time indicator you need to hold alt and shift (i think) while dragging.

    i'm gonna have to contradict you on that one. My vegas preview lags like a mother*#$&@! lol
    but back to whats important, pressing zero is what your suppose to use to preview your project on AE.

    For those NEW to After Effects
    watch this video, it will teach you the basics on how to use after effects. its all the boring stuff, but it'll make the program more easy to use. I've seen it and it is a really good instruction video.

    What I do is, do all the sync related stuff in vegas then just bring into AE and do the effects i want then re render the clip and place it in the place of the un AE edited verson xD (hope that helps)

    this relates 2 clip stuff not sound, never tryed sound before xD

    lol i remember those days of lagging haha xD my vegas only lags with HD now T__T lol

    Yup i also used the videocopilot thing to learn it!
    Amazing how high the quality of the tutorial videos is AND it buffers fast.
    About the video preview thing i meant this: "displaying video and hearing the audio at the same time while dragging the time indicator, also called 'scrubbing' is done by dragging the time indicator in the timeline wile holding ctrl+alt."
    Your probably right Misterfuzzums, im no AAE expert so..
